This role offers a mix of hands‑on electrical work, thermographic scanning and client‑facing coordination across a wide range of commercial properties. You’ll work independently across diverse sites, capture high‑quality thermal data, identify defects and support clients with clear reporting and practical solutions.

This is a contract role that will extend until approximately October of 2027.
Open to flexible working arrangements, but the role will be a minimum of 24 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out thermographic scanning of switchboards across commercial, education, council facilities throughout Melbourne (and sometimes interstate, travel will be covered!).
- Coordinate and schedule works directly with clients and tenants to ensure smooth access and minimal disruption.
- Operate in line with HSEQ policies and procedures, maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and qualified conduct.
- Prepare clear, accurate thermography reports and submit findings to support formalised reporting to the client.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, documentation and communication across all tasks.

What we’re looking for

- Relevant electrical trade qualification and A‑Grade Licence.
- Two to three years’ experience in the industry; commercial maintenance background preferred.
- Thermography experience an advantage,



but not essential — full training provided.
- Comfortable with regular thermographic scanning.
- Basic computer and IT skills for reporting, image handling and quoting.
- Strong understanding of OHS requirements and safe work practices.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with clients.
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle. Ability to pass a WWCC and Police check.
