About Us

Precast Liners Pty Ltd is a specialist manufacturer of precast liners used in the production of concrete sleepers and similar precast concrete products.

We are a small, growing business with ambitious plans to expand throughout Australia and, in the future, into international export markets. We are now looking for a confident and proactive person to help us strengthen existing customer relationships and develop new business opportunities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at an early stage and help shape the future of the position.

Initially, your primary focus will be contacting our existing database of small and medium-sized customers. You will build relationships, understand their requirements, identify sales opportunities and ensure Precast Liners remains front of mind.

As you become familiar with our products and customers, the role will expand to researching and approaching concrete sleeper manufacturers and other suitable precast businesses throughout Australia that are not currently purchasing from us.

Over time, there is also the potential to explore international export opportunities and become involved in the daily sales and operational support of the business.

The position will commence on a casual basis, with the potential to develop into part-time or full-time employment depending on the success of the role and the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact and build relationships with existing customers

- Follow up customer requirements and identify new sales opportunities

- Re-engage previous or inactive customers

- Research potential customers throughout Australia

- Proactively introduce our products to new prospective customers

- Maintain accurate customer and sales information

- Follow up enquiries, leads, quotes and opportunities

- Provide excellent service and ongoing communication





- Assist with day-to-day sales administration and operational support as the role develops

- Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and support business growth

- Potentially assist with developing international export opportunities in the future

About You

The successful applicant will be confident, motivated and comfortable taking initiative without needing constant direction.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Excellent telephone communication skills and the confidence to initiate conversations

- A proactive, energetic and results-focused approach

- Robust relationship-building and customer service skills

- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities

- Good organisational and follow-up skills

- Strong written communication and basic computer skills

- A willingness to learn about our products, customers and industry

- The flexibility to assist with broader business activities as the position grows

Previous experience in internal sales, business development, customer service or manufacturing would be highly regarded. However, attitude, confidence and initiative are just as important.
