North East Steel is seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering steel products throughout North East Victoria while ensuring orders are loaded, organised, and delivered safely and efficiently.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Loading and securing steel products onto the truck
- Delivering steel orders to customers across North East Victoria
- Organising and checking orders prior to delivery
- Operating a crane truck when required (training may be provided)
- Assisting with general yard duties when required
- Maintaining a safe and professional approach at all times
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Heavy Rigid (HR) truck licence (essential).
- Current forklift ticket (essential).
- Experience using a crane truck is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to organise orders efficiently
- Be physically fit and capable of handling steel products
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours
Monday to Friday
7:00am – 4:30pm
