The Prospect

Veolia is seeking an experienced Industrial Chemist to join our St. Mary's site. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, provide expert support to our customers, and ensure their expectations are consistently met.

What you'll be responsible for

- Oversee the intake and processing of industrial liquid waste while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency

- Conduct onsite and offsite sampling and waste assessments to evaluate waste quality and characteristics

- Support daily operations and drive continuous improvement to consistently exceed customer expectations

- Analyse waste data and provide strategic recommendations to sales teams and customers on waste acceptance criteria

- Perform screening, testing, and treatment of liquid waste to meet regulatory and quality standards

What you'll need to be successful





- A degree in in science or equivalent

- Minimum 3 year's experience in similar plant or operations

- Strong relationship-building experience

- Reliability and attention to detail

- Strong commitment to safety and environmental practices
