About Metro Trains Sydney (MTS)

MTS are the proud operators and maintainers of the M1 Northwest and Bankstown Line with the new City section now operational. We run a fully automated passenger railway – an Australian first. We connect our customers to opportunities that matter to them while delivering the next generation of rail travel to Sydney. With global expertise, we manage 51.5km of track and 21 stations, with a planned expansion into southwest Sydney.

About the Role

We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Performance Business Partner to join our Finance and Business Services team. This critical role will be responsible for producing daily reports and analysis of performance relating to timetables, service levels, service quality and asset functionality. The role will also be responsible for providing accurate, efficient and timely periodic reporting throughout the year.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity for a period of six months, providing maternity leave cover. The position is based at our Tallawong office, with flexible working arrangements available.

You will also be involved in:

- Administrating our service performance monitoring system
- Analysing and testing proposed system changes
- Analysing proposed changes to the network timetable and/or other contractual requirements
- Producing prompt,



accurate and understandable models and reports in line with organisational needs and commercial obligations

About You

You have demonstrated experience analysing data, reporting results, and describing complex calculations. You have experience modelling data and can look at abstract information to create solutions that align with business objectives. You have a track record of working collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment. Rail or Transport Operations knowledge will be highly regarded.
