ABOUT THE FIRM

THE ROLE
Reporting to the National Legal Knowledge Manager, you will be joining the Knowledge Management team with your duties including:
- build and maintain a current, reliable collection of precedents and knowledge resources, regularly updating them to reflect changes in the law and support consistent, high-quality legal drafting across the firm
- keep on top of changes in relevant law and policy, share updates with the team, and respond to knowledge-related queries so practice group members have the information they need to advise clients well
- create practical, easy-to-use resources and provide training on key knowledge tools
- work with the MAC group to spot where AI, automation and other technology could add the most value, assess and trial emerging legal tech tools, and help tailor and roll out solutions that improve productivity and client outcomes
- stay up to date with developments in AI and legal technology, and encourage the responsible and effective use of AI tools within the practice group
- manage knowledge management projects from planning through to delivery,
and contribute to broader initiatives that help the firm’s lawyers work more efficiently and effectively
- work closely with other Knowledge Management team members to make sure the firm’s knowledge strategy is applied consistently across practice groups
This is a permanent, part time or full-time opportunity. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home. We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you.
YOU
The successful candidate will bring a strong track record in knowledge management (3 years + PQE minimum please), gained either in legal practice or across broader professional services. You will have excellent communication and influencing skills, an innovative mindset, and hands-on experience with knowledge management technologies, ideally across the mergers & acquisitions and capital markets (MAC) law.
