What we are looking for:
We are looking for an Experienced Roofing Site Supervisor to join our McHugh Steel team.
The successful applicant must work well within a team, have a high level of communication skills, be reliable and organised.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Pre site/measures and post inspections/quality control checks
- Full site supervising/project management
- Installations for maintenance for fascia, gutter and roofing
- Liaising with onsite trades and building supervisors
- Day to day scheduling, management and coordination of trades on site, suppliers & deliveries, completion of paperwork and other admin tasks.
- Ensure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Maintaining site safety and cleanliness
- Ensuring work is completed to a satisfactory standard
- Enforce and adhere to OH&S; regulations
- Attend weekly construction meetings
About You:
- Has robust leadership & motivational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams of sub-contractors
- An ability to ensure that jobs are scheduled effectively and are managed within budget and time specifications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality
- Confidence and ability in dealing with a diverse range of people
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, including oral and written communication
- A passion to produce a high quality of work
Job requirements:
- QBCC Building Supervisors licence held (highly desired)
- Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
