About the role
As a Senior Audio Visual Support Specialist, you will make an impact by designing, programming, and implementing AV control and DSP systems, and providing specialist AV support for large conference environments — including configuring and managing systems remotely. You will be a valued member of the AV Support team and work collaboratively with Networking, Security, WPS, and OEM/vendor partners.
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement AV control systems and DSP programming for large conference environments
- Program and configure control systems (e.g., Crestron) and DSP platforms (e.g., Biamp Tesira) to support complex AV setups
- Provide specialist AV support for large conference spaces, including remote configuration and management
- Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of AV systems, including routing, control, and networking issues, using tools such as Tesira, Extron Toolbelt, ScreenMeet, Intuiface, Neat Pulse, Logitech Sync, and Zoom Console
- Coordinate RMAs and liaise with OEMs and vendors to support hardware issues

What you need to have to be considered
- Experience with DSP programming, AV system design and implementation, and control system programming
- Hands-on knowledge of Crestron and Biamp Tesira platforms
- Experience providing specialist AV support for large conference environments, including remote configuration and management
- Working knowledge of audio-video routing concepts, including EDID, HDCP, display/source resolutions, and audio-video extension over HDBaseT, switchers, and matrix switchers
- Foundational networking knowledge, including LAN/WAN/WLAN, network topologies, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet, SSH, and FTP, along with familiarity with routers, switches, modems, IP addressing, and subnetting
These will help you stand out
- Understanding of Dante audio networking, including Dante Controller and crosspoint routing
- CTS-I certification
- Ability to read AV schematics and understand signal flow across inputs, outputs, DSPs, switchers, control processors, and displays
- Familiarity with AV control systems and basic networking protocols (IP, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet)
- Basic understanding of USB connectivity, USB hubs, and USB extension over Cat6
