We are looking for dedicated Customer Service Officers (Operator and Concierge) to support various race days in Randwick Racecourse between September and November. We have multiple dates available.

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating wagering terminals or overseeing EBT machines. This is NOT a food and beverage assignment.

You will need to pass (1) Fit To Work background check and (2) TAB compliance training (online) as prerequisites for this role. You will also need to attend in-person training days (paid) prior to the actual race days.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate wagering terminals and 'standalone' EBT machines
- Oversee cash handling procedures and reconciliation
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
- Promote a safe and inclusive workplace for customers and colleagues

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

- Must be over the age of 18
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in operating wagering terminals and EBT machines is an asset (desirable)




- Knowledge of responsible gambling practices is (preferred)
- Be able to commit to all training and actual race dates
