The Position:
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, this is a genuinely hands on role for a leader who can drive transformation while helping to shape the organisation's future design. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, strengthening commercial capability and business partnering so finance is seen as a genuine partner to the business.
You will build financial capability across the organisation, equipping leaders to make sound decisions, optimise resources and improve business outcomes, while building the organisation's business maturity over time, including future improvements to processes and systems. Working alongside a capable and connected Executive team, you will help drive growth, sustainability and organisational performance.
About You:
You are an experienced CFO or senior finance executive with a proven track record of leading operational and cultural transformation. Bringing solid commercial judgement and a business-partnering mindset, you are comfortable challenging and supporting your peers.
Strategic in your thinking, you look to future horizons rather than only at what has already happened and bring the credibility to build trust across the Board, Executive and operational stakeholders. You are CA or CPA qualified and bring substantial senior executive leadership experience across both operational and strategic financial roles. Candidates may come from a range of sectors, although experience in health, human services or the for-purpose sector would be highly regarded.
