Glass Supplies P/L is Tasmania's leading glass and aluminium window & door manufacturer. Our privately owned family company employs over 120 people with operations throughout Tasmania.

This full time Monday to Thursday (4 day week) position involves assembling aluminium windows, doors and associated products. It will assist if you have previous experience in window manufacturing, cabinet making, joinery, trades or fabrication.

Based in Hobart and working as part of our production team, you'll manufacture and assemble a wide range of aluminium window and door systems including:

- Residential windows and doors

- Sliding and stacking doors

- Custom architectural aluminium products

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not limited to:-

- Assembling aluminium window and door products to specification

- Using hand, pneumatic and power tools safely and effectively

- Reading and following production documentation and work instructions

- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and procuct quality

- High level organizational & time management skills

- Be an innovative & proactive solution provider

Ideally, you'll have:

Excellent communication skills

Great attention to detail with pride in maintaing a clean and organised workspace





Be able to work within time frames/deadlines & work under pressure

Valuable manual handling capability and physical fitness

Hold a current driver’s license & has own transport

Wanting an opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and willingness to learn

Adherence to all company OHS&E; regulations & practices
