The Opportunity

As an Infrastructure Support Officer you will be reporting into the Service Delivery Manager, in an ever-expanding environment. Your primarily responsibility will be to provide user support and maintenance of the technology platform.

This is a fantastic opportunity in a growing organisation to utilise your IT knowledge, develop strong client facing skills & to grow your professional skill set.

Key Responsibilities

- Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance in person and remotely.

- Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.

- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.

- Provisioning and deprovisioning of user access.

- Provisioning and support of end user equipment.

- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.

- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.

- Always provide an exceptional level of customer service.

- Planning and prioritising tasks.

- Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.

- Create and maintain knowledge base articles for customer and IT use.

About You

- Previous experience in a similar role





- Experience in a similar role within Financial Services is highly advantageous.

- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control

- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues

- Excellent communication skills

- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered

- Experience with incident ticketing systems

- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
