A.I.M Muscles And Joints
Shailer Park
Ready for a role where your ideas are valued and your contribution genuinely matters?
A.I.M Muscles and Joints is looking for an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to help us re-establish and grow physiotherapy services within our multidisciplinary clinic.
We have offered physiotherapy previously and are now looking for the right practitioner to guide its next stage.
This is an opportunity to join an established clinic with an existing patient community, a strong local reputation and a collaborative team committed to providing personalised, evidence-based care.
You’ll have the autonomy to practise confidently while being supported by administration, internal referrals, ongoing marketing and an established business.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be expected to build everything alone.
We’ll work alongside you to grow awareness of physiotherapy within the clinic and local community while giving you the opportunity to contribute ideas and help shape the future direction of the service.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a permanent part-time position offering approximately 20–26 hours per week.
The days and hours will be discussed with the successful applicant, allowing us to create an arrangement that supports both the practitioner and the needs of the clinic.
You’ll work with a diverse range of patients, helping them to:
• Manage pain and improve movement
• Recover from musculoskeletal injuries
• Improve strength, mobility and function
• Return to work, sport and everyday activities
• Work towards meaningful health and lifestyle goals
You’ll also collaborate with our other practitioners to provide coordinated, patient-centred care.
As the service grows, there may be opportunities to increase your hours and take on greater responsibility within the physiotherapy department.
WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY IS DIFFERENT
You’ll have the prospect to:
• Re-establish physiotherapy within a successful multidisciplinary clinic
• Contribute ideas and influence how the service develops
• Receive internal referrals from our existing patient community
• Work alongside a supportive team of allied health practitioners
• Receive administration and marketing support
• Enjoy flexible permanent part-time hours
• Work from modern clinic facilities
• Develop professionally as the clinic continues to grow
• Build a meaningful long-term position rather than simply fill an existing roster
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Physiotherapist who:
• Genuinely cares about helping people achieve their goals
• Delivers high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care
• Builds robust and trusting relationships with patients
• Communicates confidently and professionally
• Enjoys collaborating with other health practitioners
• Is motivated, proactive and professionally driven
• Is comfortable working autonomously within their scope of practice
• Is willing to contribute ideas and participate in growing the service
• Is commercially aware and comfortable working towards clear and reasonable performance goals
• Values ongoing learning and professional development
• Wants to become a valued, long-term member of the clinic
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about their patients, takes pride in their work and wants to contribute to something meaningful.
WHAT WE OFFER
• Permanent part-time employment
• Approximately 20–26 hours per week
• Flexible days and hours by mutual agreement
• $65,000–$80,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on experience and agreed hours
• An established clinic and patient community
• Internal referral opportunities
• Dedicated administration support
• Ongoing clinic marketing
• A collaborative multidisciplinary environment
• Modern clinic facilities
• Career development opportunities
• Clinical autonomy and input into service development
• The opportunity to increase hours as the service grows
• A positive workplace where ideas and contributions are valued
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Current professional indemnity insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Australian working rights
Please note that employer-sponsored visas are not available for this position. Applicants must already hold valid Australian working rights that allow them to undertake the role.
DESIRABLE, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
• Previous private-practice experience
• Dry needling qualifications
• Clinical Pilates or rehabilitation experience
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary clinic
• A strong interest in musculoskeletal care
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
