We’re on the hunt for a reliable and hardworking Shed Assistant/Labourer to join our busy steel workshop in Sandgate. This is a hands on role ideal for someone with a solid work ethic, keen to develop skills in the steel fabrication industry. For the right candidate, there’s an opportunity to step into a boiler making apprenticeship.

Your Day-to-Day Duties:

- Drilling, painting, prepping steel beams

- Operating a forklift to move and organise steel

- Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and well organised

- Assisting boilermakers with daily tasks and projects

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience in a workshop or similar environment (preferred)

- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)

- Physically fit and capable of manual labour

- Strong attention to detail and safety practices

- Reliable, punctual, and a TEAM PLAYER

Bonus:

- Interest in pursuing a boilermaking apprenticeship/workshop experience

- Power tool knowledge or trade exposure

- Truck licences training
