We are recognised as Far North Queensland's dedicated Marine Transmission specialist and support clients across the marine, mining, agriculture and industrial sectors.Due to continued growth, we are seeking an organised, customer-focused and technically minded Parts Co-ordinator to join our team in Portsmith.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with parts, stores, automotive, diesel, marine or heavy equipment experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced workshop environment.About the RoleAs the Parts Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, sales and distribution of parts for marine transmissions, diesel engines, generators and associated equipment.
You will play a critical role in supporting workshop operations and ensuring our customers receive the right parts on time.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate sourcing, ordering and procurement of parts from local, national and international suppliersManage inventory levels and maintain accurate stock recordsProcess customer parts enquiries, quotations and sales ordersLiaise with workshop technicians to identify parts requirements for repairs and rebuildsReceive, inspect and reconcile incoming deliveriesCoordinate freight and logistics for parts shipmentsMaintain supplier relationships and negotiate pricing where appropriateAssist with warranty claims and returns processesEnsure stock control procedures are followed, and inventory discrepancies are investigatedSupport workshop scheduling by ensuring parts availability for upcoming jobsMaintain a clean,
