NPosition Type ManagementAbout the RoleWe are seeking a driven and results-focused Sales professional to join the Brisbane Marriott Hotel team.
This role is responsible for managing and growing corporate, conference, and group business, while building strong client relationships and identifying current revenue opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow corporate, conference, and catering accounts to maximise revenue and market shareProactively source new business through networking, sales calls, site inspections, and industry engagementDevelop and implement sales strategies aligned with revenue targets and hotel objectivesMaintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new opportunities across all market segmentsConduct regular sales activities including client meetings, telemarketing, and account managementCollaborate with internal teams including Sales Centre, Revenue Management, and Events to drive business outcomesMaintain accurate records and reporting within systems (Opera) and ensure timely follow-up on all leadsRepresent the hotel at industry events and trade shows where requiredAbout YouStrong sales and negotiation skills with a proactive approach to business developmentExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesWell-organised with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesPassion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving resultsWhat We OfferOpportunity to work with a globally recognised hotel brandSupportive team setting and career development opportunitiesDynamic role with exposure to a wide range of clients and eventsMarriott Hotels strive to elevate the art of hospitality, innovating at every opportunity while keeping the comfort of the oh-so-familiar all around the globe.
