CN - Gladstone Hospital - Mental Health Intake
Gladstone Hospital's Mental Health and Acute Care Team is seeking a Clinical Nurse Grade 6 to join their intake and assessment service.
This is an eight-week contract running from late July through September ****, based in Gladstone, Queensland.
The role offers a salary of AUD$***** to AUD$***** per hour, and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mental health nurse to contribute to a busy, dynamic service during a period of increased demand.
Conduct mental health intake assessments and initial evaluations for acute care presentations
AUD$***** to AUD$***** per hour, eight-week fixed-term contract
Work within a specialist mental health team in a regional hospital setting
Preferred Requirements
Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing,



including assessment and intake processes
Solid background in acute care mental health settings
Proven ability to conduct thorough intake and assessment interviews with diverse presentations
Strong communication and documentation skills in a clinical workplace
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team under time-sensitive conditions
Preferred Qualifications
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Post-graduate qualification or specialist training in mental health nursing
Current First Aid and CPR certification
