With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint two experienced Construction Managers to lead the safe and successful delivery of site-based construction activities.About the RoleReporting to the NSW Construction Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day site delivery across multidisciplinary, utility-scale high-voltage projects of 132kV and above.
You will lead civil and electrical contractors, coordinate construction activities and ensure each project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Projects are located across Sydney, Newcastle and regional NSW, with DIDO arrangements available depending on the project.
Due to travel requirements, applicants must be based in NSW or willing to relocate, with project locations generally requiring no more than half a day's travel.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all site-based construction activities across HV substation and BESS projectsManage multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors across civil and electrical worksCoordinate outages, permits, resources and construction sequencingWork closely with Project Managers, clients, utilities and internal delivery teamsOversee safety, quality, environmental compliance, progress,



costs and site reportingAbout YouExperience leading the site delivery of utility-scale BESS and/or substations or comparable HV infrastructure at 132kV or aboveCurrent NSW electrical license – mandatoryStrong capability managing multidisciplinary contractors and site teams across civil and electrical worksPractical understanding of safety, quality, permits, outages and construction sequencingBased in NSW or willing to relocate, with flexibility to travel to regional project sitesExperience delivering projects for Australian utilities or renewable energy clientsExposure to BESS and grid-connected renewable energy projectsExperience working under DIDO or regional project arrangementsKnowledge of Australian utility standards and requirementsAdditional qualifications in construction management or safetyWhat's on OfferLAFHA of approximately $293–$300+ per day on eligible projectsOvertime paid at time and a half after nine hours, including weekend workTypical *****-hour working days, depending on project requirements11/3 roster, including a paid day off following the eleventh dayLong-term project pipeline, strong earning potential and exposure to major HV projectsAbout the BusinessThis organisation is a recognised EPC contractor within the Australian energy infrastructure sector, delivering complex high-voltage substations and grid-connected renewable energy projects.The business offers long-term stability, a collaborative working setting and the opportunity to lead critical infrastructure projects supporting Australia's energy transition.
