Our Mareeba depot is looking for a Local MC Driver to join the team, offering a permanent full time position:
Monday to Friday
Every second Saturday with overtime available
This role is ideally suited to an experienced MC Driver that still wants to be behind the wheel but also wishes to be home each night.
A key role keeping our depot moving.

What You'll Do
Driving the Tug around the depot to hook and unhook trailers
Reversing B-Doubles and Singles in the yard
Drive refrigerated vehicles delivering fresh, chilled & general freight across Mareeba and surrounding areas
Ensure freight is delivered safely, on time, and at the right temperature
Use in-cab tech to scan freight & record deliveries
Complete pre-starts and daily safety checks
Follow road laws and safety procedures
Work with loaders & depot teams to get the job done
Operate in a safety-first environment
What You'll Bring:
Current MC licence
Proven commercial driving experience (local or metro delivery experience is a bonus)
Refrigerated or cold-chain experience is helpful, but not essential
A secure driving record (current driving history report required)
A strong focus on safety and doing the job properly
Good communication and customer service skills
Reliable, on time and take pride in your vehicle and your work
