We're recruiting an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Trade Assistant to join a busy aviation operation at Sydney Airport.
This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of ground support equipment - from heavy trucks and pushback tugs to utes, vans, and freight movers.An exciting opportunity for the right candidate to secure permanency and, down the track, access airline staff benefits that go beyond the workshop.What you'll be doing:Servicing, maintaining & repairing ground service equipment (trucks, pushback/freight tugs, cars, vans & utes)Working across hydraulics, fitting, welding, and basic electrical troubleshooting (experience in any of these is highly regarded)Carrying out scheduled maintenance & responding to breakdownsSupporting a critical operation that keeps the airport movingWhat's on offer:$45 per hour casual base rate + OT & shift allowances as requiredMonday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm with occasional overtimeOnsite parking at the Jet Base & just a 15-minute walk from Mascot StationOpportunity for permanency, unlocking airline advantages in the futureWork in a supportive,
