Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB)provides an inclusive approach for students with disability and diverse learning needs.
This teaching role is made available as we broaden our learning offerings and inclusive model of education by providing class options for parents of children with disability with a focus on strengths, to promote engagement, enable learning growth and ensure flourishing.
Eileen O'Connor Catholic School(EOCS) provides quality education for students with a disability from kindergarten to Year 6 and a network of Support Classes in local parish schools facilitating the transition between base school and support classes and local parish school enrolment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join us in a part-time temporary role (26 hours per fortnight) through to 27 January ****.
This position offers a consistent work pattern, with attendance required every Monday and Tuesday, providing an excellent prospect for candidates seeking a rewarding role with regular, predictable hours.

Specific Criteria
A commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for children
A commitment and interest to support students with special learning needs
Knowledge of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) register
Ability to assist in teaching under the direction and general supervision of a teacher




Support students with their individualised learning plans in specific areas and report student progress
Ability to assist with the selection and preparation of teaching resources to meet student needs and interest
A commitment to excellence in pedagogy
An understanding of the needs of students who require individual and classroom support
Ability to carry out individual self-help programs to develop independent living skills in students
Ability to supervise groups of students other than classroom situations and on playgrounds
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent communication and IT skills
Qualifications and Accreditations
Practising Catholic and/or can demonstrate an understanding and commitment to, the ethos of the Catholic faith in an educational context
Valid Working with Children Check
