We are seeking a number of experienced Carers with a Certificate III in Aged Care to undertake the role of a Carer at The Villageon a casualbasis.The successful candidates will be available to work at least three weekdays and be versatile to work night shifts as required.The role entails providing care to residents as a member of the care team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse to provide person centred care which includes:Empowering our residents to ensure their choices and preferences are met,



including serving food and feeding residents when requiredAssisting residents with their daily care needsAssisting residents to participate in activitiesYou will bring:A caring and patient outlook and enjoy making a positive impact to our residents everyday lives.A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalentDemonstrated experience in an aged care or community health setting and an understanding of issues relating to dementia carePrevious working knowledge of the aged care industry and person-centred careOutstanding customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationshipsConfidence working in a flexible team environmentWell-developed communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to speak other languages (desirable but not essential)
