We're looking for a commercially minded Commercial Finance Analyst - Operations to join our Finance team.
This is an opportunity to partner with senior leaders across Operations and Property, providing the financial insight and commercial analysis that helps drive strategic decisions across our national store network.
About the role
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager - Operations, you'll provide commercial and financial support across mycar's national property portfolio and store operations.
You'll develop business cases, build financial models, analyse commercial performance and provide strategic insights that support investment decisions, profitability and long-term business growth.
This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with Finance, Property and Operations leaders to help guide key commercial outcomes.
What you'll be doing
Developing financial models, business cases and scenario analysis for strategic initiatives and capital investments.
Partnering with Operations and Property leaders to provide commercial advice and financial decision support.
Analysing store profitability, operational performance and key business drivers.
Supporting property investment decisions, new store pipeline analysis and portfolio performance.
Managing capital expenditure reporting, forecasting and investment approvals.
Preparing budgets, forecasts and long-range financial plans.
Reviewing monthly store performance, including occupancy, remuneration and inventory costs.
Delivering meaningful reporting and insights that support business planning.




Driving continuous improvement through reporting automation, stronger data governance and process efficiencies.
About you
You'll be commercially curious, analytical and confident working with senior stakeholders.
You enjoy solving business problems with data and can clearly communicate financial insights to non-financial audiences.
You'll also bring:
Degree qualifications in Finance or Accounting.
CA or CPA qualification.
At least 5 years' experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A; or Finance Business Partnering.
Experience supporting retail, property or multi-site operations.
Strong experience developing financial models, business cases and investment analysis.
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and analysing large datasets.
Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Knowledge of SAP, TM1, ERP systems or lease accounting systems will be highly regarded.
