This is a hands-on role requiring strong operational awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a agile commissioning environment.Key Responsibilities:Support commissioning and start-up activities across Balance of Plant systemsOperate and monitor power station equipment from control panels and in the fieldImplement LOTO and Permit to Work proceduresAssist with bringing generators online/offline, load sharing, and synchronizationStart and operate pumps, turbines, switchgear,



transmission/distribution circuits, and auxiliary systemsConduct inspections, monitor alarms, and respond to abnormal system conditionsAssist in fault finding, diagnostics, and commissioning test activitiesRecord and report operational data, test results, and system performanceIdentify and report equipment malfunctions or control issuesFollow commissioning procedures, safety protocols, and site requirementsRoster & Travel:2:2 FIFO rosterFlights providedAccommodation provided while on siteDIDO available for candidates located within commuting distanceQualifications & Experience:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Trade Qualification (Fitter/Boilermaker)Turbine Operator Ticket (highly regarded)Experience in commissioning and/or gas-fired power generation preferredStrong understanding of plant operations, control systems, and safety processesAbility to work in a fast-paced, evolving commissioning environment
