This newly created role will lead a comprehensive review and redesign of the organisation's policy framework while supporting strategic business projects across multiple functions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to drive finance transformation, governance, policy frameworks, and business process improvement.DescriptionThe organisation is undertaking a complete review of its existing policies and governance framework to ensure documentation reflects current business practices, supports compliance requirements, and provides greater clarity across the business.Key responsibilities include:Policy TransformationReview and modernise organisational policies across all business functions.Engage with stakeholders to align policies with current business practices.Simplify documentation and clearly distinguish policies from procedures.Develop a consistent policy governance framework and approval process.Coordinate executive reviews and provide recommendations for ongoing policy management.Project Governance & Transformation SupportProvide governance and coordination support across strategic initiatives.Assist with project planning, reporting, risk management and implementation.Prepare governance documentation, reporting packs and stakeholder updates.Track milestones, actions and deliverables to ensure accountability.Support stakeholder engagement, change management and business improvement activities.ProfileThe successful Policy & Business Transformation Lead should have:Solid expertise in finance policy development and implementation.Experience in the industrial and manufacturing industry is advantageous.Proven ability to conduct gap analysis and recommend improvements.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Attention to detail and a focus on compliance with regulations.Ability to produce clear and concise documentation.CA/CPA qualification is also desirableJob Offer6-12 months contract position with an immediate start availableConvenient Western Sydney locationCompetitive hourly rate availableOpportunity to leave a lasting organisational legacy through a complete governance transformation.Broad cross-functional remit across the entire business.Strategic and hands-on role with significant visibility and impact.
