We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator / Rigger to join our team at in Darra, QLD for immediate start.
This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our crane fleet.
As a Crane Operator / Rigger / Dogman, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging construction projects across South East Queensland.What you'll be doingOperating cranes of various sizes and capacities in a safe and responsible mannerPerforming pre-operational checks and maintaining detailed logs of crane activitiesRigging and unrigging loads, selecting appropriate slings and lifting equipmentCoordinating with site personnel to ensure the smooth and timely completion of liftsAdhering to all relevant safety standards and regulationsProviding mentorship and guidance to less experienced team membersParticipating in ongoing training and skilled developmentWhat we're looking forMinimum 5 years' experience as a Crane Operator / Rigger in the construction industryCurrent High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) for the operation of cranesCurrent HR LicenceStrong knowledge of crane operation, rigging, and load chartsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCommitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk managementProblem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressureWillingness to work overtime and weekends as requiredWhat we offercompetitive remunerationopportunities for career progressionpaid leavetraining and developmenthealth and wellness initiativesAbout usWe are a leading provider of crane services in South East Queensland.
