INSURANCE LITIGATION LAWYER PAE 2+ YEARS
BTLawyers is looking for a junior insurance litigation lawyer, eager to progress their career with autonomy under the guidance of one of our Partners.
Are you the person we are looking for?
We want you to manage your own files and deliver excellent results to our clients.
We'll work with you to develop your technical knowledge and advocacy skills, with exposure to litigation in a supportive environment.
The role requires:
All aspects of claims management.
Providing advice to clients on indemnity, liability, quantum and third-party contribution.
Attending settlement conferences and mediations.
Preparing for and instructing counsel at court applications and trial.
What will you need to bring?
Minimum 2 years PAE.
Experience in insurance, preferably Queensland workers' compensation (Plaintiff or Defendant).
Time management and the ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Think creatively and problem-solving skills.




Ability to quickly adapt to and learn technology, systems and processes.
Ability to operate in a paperless environment.
A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a friendly team environment.
