This is a senior individual-contributor role for a versatile engineer who moves fluidly between maintaining the Azure platform our systems run on and delivering hands-on full-stack engineering across our new customer-facing booking applications (B2C, B2E, B2B), with the balance shifting as business priorities change.
You will hold autonomy over technical decisions for the team, working closely with the Head of Engineering, our Solution Architect, and the wider engineering group.A day in the life:Deliver hands-on full-stack engineering across B2X applications, prioritising customer-facing booking (React/TypeScript and .NET on Azure)Maintain and operate the Azure platform (Container Apps, API Management, Key Vault, networking, Bicep) to ensure security and reliabilityBuild integrations between applications and Connect/Commerce APIs to enable dynamic booking functionalityLead adoption of AI-powered engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot), setting standards and uplifting team capabilityProvide technical leadership in agile teams, ensuring high-quality, secure, and maintainable code through peer reviewsApply best practices for scalability, performance, and security,
