We are looking for a capable and commercially minded lawyer to join our team and take ownership of a high-quality and genuinely interesting file load.About the roleYou will manage a varied and engaging practice, including:Commercial conveyancing and complex/high-value residential matters, from contract through to settlementCommercial and retail shop leasing, acting for both landlords and tenants, including drafting, negotiation, renewals and disputesProperty development matters, including off-the-plan sales, community titles schemes, subdivisions and disclosure documentationJoint ventures, loan agreements, solicitor's certificates, business sales, and broader commercial advisory work flowing from the aboveThis is a hands-on role with real responsibility, client contact,



and the chance to deepen your expertise across commercial and property law.About youWe are seeking someone who:Holds a current Queensland practising certificate (1-3years PQE preferred, but flexible for the right person)Has solid experience in commercial conveyancing, leasing and/or property development, or strong experience in one or two of these areas with the capability and motivation to develop furtherIs comfortable using technology, including PEXA and modern practice management systems (Actionstep experience preferred but not essential), along with strong Microsoft Office skillsUses technology and AI thoughtfully to improve efficiency and quality of workCommunicates clearly in plain English and brings a commercial, solutions-focused mindsetCan manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure without compromising accuracyEnjoys the work and is looking to build a long-term career in commercial and property lawHigh-quality work with a diverse and sophisticated client baseSupportive team environment with strong mentoring and collaborationModern systems and a forward-thinking approach to legal practiceOpportunity to grow your practice and take ownership of your workFlexible approach for the right candidate
