We produce a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 40 countries worldwide.What you'll be doingPromote safe work practices and uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety throughout the QA functionLead, mentor, coach, and develop the Quality Assurance teamManage team performance, attendance, rostering, leave planning, and training requirementsMonitor compliance with DAFF export requirements, Approved Arrangement programs, HACCP plans, Australian Standards, customer specifications, and regulatory standardsOversee food safety, quality assurance, GMP, and verification programs across the facilityManage inspection activities, product monitoring, environmental monitoring, and quality verification checksCoordinate and support internal and external audits, including BRCGS, AUS-MEAT, Halal, Organic, customer, and regulatory auditsInvestigate customer complaints, quality incidents, non-conformances, and product deviations, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions are implementedMaintain and verify HACCP-based food safety systems and prerequisite programsEnsure quality records, documentation,



and reports are completed accurately and maintained in accordance with company and regulatory requirementsDeliver food safety, quality, and compliance training to operational teamsDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, food safety performance, efficiency, and complianceSupport the Quality Manager in achieving departmental and business objectivesWhat you'll bringPrevious experience in a Quality Assurance leadership, supervisory, or management role within the meat processing, food manufacturing, or export food industryStrong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety systems, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance requirementsExperience managing teams and fostering a positive workplace cultureSound understanding of export meat processing requirements and customer specificationsDemonstrated experience with AUS-MEAT, BRCGS, Halal, Organic, and major customer audit standardsExcellent leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilitiesThe ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and manage competing prioritiesCertificate III/IV in Food Safety or Meat Processing (desirable)Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Microbiology, Agriculture, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline will be highly regardedWhy Join Stanbroke?
