Life Education NSW/ACT is looking for an inspiring educator to join our team for a 12-month parental leave contract, delivering our renowned Healthy Harold program across the Murrumbidgee region.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with both primary schools and early learning centres, delivering engaging health and wellbeing education that empowers children to make safer and healthier choices.
Based within the Murrumbidgee region, you will:
Deliver engaging health and wellbeing education programs in primary schools and early learning centres.
Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, early learning services and community partners.
Manage your teaching schedule in collaboration with our Education and Scheduling teams.
Represent Life Education professionally throughout the region.
Travel extensively throughout the Murrumbidgee region, with occasional travel outside the region for training, conferences or operational requirements, with overnight trips expected.
A fully maintained tools of the trade vehicle is provided with this role.
Work independently while remaining closely connected to a supportive state-wide education team.

You are someone who:




Is a qualified teacher or educator with experience working with primary-aged children and/or early childhood settings.
Creates engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
Builds trusted relationships with schools and community organisations.
Is confident presenting to groups of children and adults.
Is organised, adaptable and able to manage your own workload.
Enjoys travelling and working across a diverse region and is able to stay away from home overnight.
Is comfortable using technology for lesson delivery and administration.
Is passionate about children's health, wellbeing and education.
Current Working with Children Check.
Current driver's licence.
Ability to travel extensively throughout the Murrumbidgee region.
Ability to complete mandatory child-safe training and organisational induction.
