supportive and nurturing environmentAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you'll have:A genuine passion for supporting children and young peopleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situationsStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsFlexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends, sleepovers, active nights and public holidaysEssential RequirementsCertificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Community Services or a related qualification (or currently studying a relevant qualification)Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)Current Queensland Driver LicenceCurrent National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)Current First Aid and CPRFull Australian working rightsHighly RegardedResidential Youth CareChild ProtectionOut-of-Home Care (OOHC)Disability SupportMental HealthTrauma-informed careChallenging behaviours and crisis interventionAdditional training such as Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), PART, MAPA, CPI or Mental Health First Aid will be highly regarded.MUST HAVE ABN (Australian Business Number)
