We offer a career of reward and growth, with a current vacancy for an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a departmental day work role.Duties & ResponsibilitiesExecute scheduled preventative maintenance strategies to achieve and maintain a high level of safety and equipment reliabilityAssist in the implementation and verification of modifications to equipment, maintenance or operational techniques related to production improvement activitiesRespond to breakdown and failures as required to ensure production capabilities are metCommit and adhere to all safety procedures, regulations and standardsLiaise with production personnel and other work groups to ensure customer agreed expectations are met or exceededPerform maintenance activities in other areas of the plant when required.Qualifications & AttributesMechanical Fitter Trade Certificate (Essential)Current Drivers LicenceDemonstrated commitment to equipment reliability and quality outcomesDemonstrated commitment to safetyProven problem solving and decision-making abilitiesGood communication and interpersonal skillsExperience within a heavy industrial environmentFlexibility to work continuous 12-hour shift roster if requiredEWP Licence (advantageous)Forklift Licence (advantageous)Dogman ticket (advantageous)Working at heights training(advantageous)Confined space training(advantageous)Commitment to live our values of Teamwork, Achieve and Care.Training will be provided to the successful candidate if the above licences are not already held.
