As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for the providing high level, professional, effective administration and support services to SYC's head office in Kent Town.
This role entails supporting SYC stakeholders from a first point of contact perspective whilst performing administration duties for our teams running within head office.In this role, you'll proactively support the effective implementation of office business and ensure daily operations of SYC's head office run smoothly.
Day- to-day activities will include:Delivering exceptional customer service, providing a timely and accessible first line of contact via phone or from our reception deskEnsuring the efficient daily collection, processing, distribution, and dispatch of mail from both the PO box and onsite deliveryLodging Kent Town site property maintenance requests as required and coordinate tradespeople or other clients attending the officeMonitoring and assisting with purchasing office supplies, stationery and kitchen consumables while maintaining appropriate stock levelsContributing to the maintenance of a safe work environment, undertaking First Aid Officer and site Chief Warden responsibilities, including alarm testing and quarterly inspectionsAbout YouAs someone with experience in a receptionist or customer service role, you will have a 'can do' attitude and an engaging and enthusiastic manner.
You will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:Strong data entry skills,
