We have a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist and AHAs.
Due to expansion, we are currently seeking a casual/ part time Occupational Therapist to join our friendly team to work in community based care.HoursCasual or part time - 16 hours per week.

We endeavour to minimise travel wherever possibleDetailsAssessment and implementation of treatment programs in aged care - community setting (predominantly through Support at Home - SAH, NDIS and private referralsProvide client centred re-ablement Occupational Therapy with a goal to maximising independence, safety and quality of lifeConduct comprehensive in-home ADL and cognitive evaluations.Recommend assistive technology, equipment,



and home modifications.Design goal-directed intervention plans in partnership with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Provide falls-prevention strategies and support caregiver trainingCommunication with Care Partners/ Support Coordinators regarding recommendations and budget approvals for participants and updates and reviewsLiaise with an in house team team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist and Allied Health Assistants regarding client care.Attend monthly staff meetingsRequirementsBachelor's (or higher) degree in Occupational TherapyOccupational Therapy registration with AHPRAPolice ClearanceNDIS worker screening clearanceAbility to work autonomouslyCurrent driver's licence and access to a car - kilometres allowance is paid in addition to salary.
Option to use company carMinimum of two years Occupational Therapy experience (desirable)Ability to work from home/ remotely - to write up case notes/ assessments/ reports etcCurrent First Aid and CPR
