Our team successfully delivers a diverse range of civil engineering and demolition projects across the Sydney Metro region.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate excavators for detailed excavation, bulk earthworks, demolition, and material handlingConduct pre-start inspections and daily safety checks, including fluid levels, greasing, lubrication, and defect reportingWork collaboratively with ground crews to deliver excavation, demolition, stockpiling,



and truck loading in line with WHS requirementsAssess work areas prior to commencement, identifying hazards, soil conditions, access constraints, and material placement zonesEnsure plant and equipment are operated safely, cleaned daily, securely stored, and maintained to company standardsMonitor truck loading to ensure compliance with weight requirements and verify dockets with driversCommunicate effectively with supervisors and site managers, responding promptly to instructions and reporting issuesMaintain accurate daily records and site documentation as requiredEssential RequirementsValid Driver's LicenceWhite CardRelevant excavator operator tickets/licencesMinimum 2+ years' experience operating excavators on civil and demolition projects within AustraliaStrong understanding of WHS legislation and protected work practicesAbility to work independently when requiredPositive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skillsWhy Join Chalouhi?
