Working within one of Victoria's leading trauma centres, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of our theatre suite by preparing equipment, maintaining clinical environments, and supporting multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.You'll work across a broad range of surgical specialties in a cooperative theatre environment where no two days are the same.
Every member of the perioperative team plays a vital role in supporting positive patient outcomes and the effective delivery of surgical services.Key AccountabilitiesProvide vital support in the operating suite by assisting with patient transfers, theatre set-up, equipment handling and cleaning, and maintaining stock levelsRotate through a broad range of surgical specialties — from trauma and emergency surgery to orthopaedics and neurosurgeryWork a 24/7 rotating roster including on-call shifts, with strong support from the Theatre Support Services ManagerBe part of a cohesive team committed to safety, excellence, and patient-centred careMaintain theatre equipment, assist in positioning lights, perform routine cleaning, and support clinical teams in real-timeAbout YouHold a Certificate III or IV in Health Services Assistance (Operating Theatre Technical Support) or equivalentHave recent experience working as a Theatre Technician in a busy operating theatre environmentThrive in a fast-paced setting,
