Plaza Family Health located in Mt Sheridan, Cairns, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our incredible team on a Part Time basis.The clinic is conveniently located in the Mt Sheridan Plaza Shopping Centre, and is home to a team of skilled GPs, supported by an experienced team of nurses and administrative staff.
You will also have the benefit of working under the Better Medical umbrella of +60 GP practices across Australia.Our clinic is open 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, meaning no late nights or weekends!
In this role you will:Deliver exceptional patient service at all timesParticipate in practice meetings and contribute ideas for improvementEfficiently manage patient data, appointments and follow proceduresProvide a seamless service to patients whilst ensuring clinic operations,



and Doctor workload is effectively managed at all timesProcess patients billings/receiptsAssist Doctors with day to day administrative support and take an active part in working closely with other team members to manage daily tasksFunction in a highly organised and time-efficient manner at all timesAttend housekeeping in the Clinic and prepare morning/afternoon teas for our DoctorsTo be successful in this role, you will have:Experience in a similar role or transferrable skills, with GP Medical Reception experience preferredProfessional, friendly, confident, and courteous mannerHigh work ethic and flexiblity to work across our clinic hoursAbility to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritiseAbility to work across multiple sitesExcellent communication skills - written and verbalHigh level of computer literacyStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a diverse team and independentlyEnthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain informationWhat we can offer you:Business hours only - no nights or weekends!
