A vibrant, team culture where we embrace pace, encourage new ideas & leadershipWho We AreSpotlight Group Holdings (SGH) is looking to grow their talented, highly entrepreneurial team.SGH is Australia's largest privately-owned and operated family business, comprising of the Spotlight Retail Group, the Spotlight Property Group, Spotlight Direct Investments and the Spotlight Charitable Foundation.Comprising of the iconic brands Spotlight, Anaconda, Harris Scarfe and Mountain Designs, SRG is acknowledged as the market leader within the Australian retail space.About the roleProcess fortnightly payroll through Dayforce, our newly implemented payroll systemAssist in the formulation, implementation and maintenance of payroll strategies, systems and processesInvestigating and resolving pay discrepancies, maintaining confidentiality and discretionProvide timely advice to staff and management on performance/payroll relatedAssist in creating related material for induction and development programs in stores and support groupGenerating periodic reporting to meet business requirements - fortnightly, monthly and annuallyAnalysis of data, reconciliations, and system health checksDatabase maintenance,



including regular data integrity checkingLiaising with third parties regarding team member details on an ad hoc basisAbout YouYou must have 2+ years of experience in a similar role for a medium to large organisationPrior experience with end of month reconciliations and high-volume payroll processing (800 to **** employees)Experience with Dayforce system is desirableExperience in General Retail Awards and Recent Zealand payroll processing is highly regarded but not mandatoryIntermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft applications, i.e. Word and especially ExcelExcellent communication (verbal and written) skillsProven ability to initiate change and improvement to processes and systemsStrong skills in documentation of processesAbility to work in a large team environment and strive to achieve desired results and deadlinesWhat's in it for you?
