We are looking for an enthusiastic secretary who enjoys building relationships with patients and wants to become an important part of growing our clinic.
We are after someone to work 4 days a week, starting October (days can be flexible).
RequirementsMinimum 2 years' medical reception experienceExperience in a specialist practice and/or fertility setting highly regarded but not essential – we're happy to train the right person who is keen to learnPractical experience with medical billing and medical records softwareExperience with Genie, Medicare and Fund/Hospital billingKey responsibilitiesGreeting patients and managing calls with a friendly, professional mannerAppointment scheduling and diary management (with Genie)Providing quotes and information on servicesData entry and maintenance of electronic patient records,



including document uploadsSterilising ultrasound equipment between patientsDebtor management and daily banking reconciliationBooking surgery and theatre listsLiaising with private health funds, Medicare and fertility clinic nursing staffOrdering office supplies, referral stationery and linenGeneral administrative support as requiredWhat we're looking forProfessional, warm and positive mannerStrong multitasking ability and composure under pressureExcellent written and verbal communicationHigh attention to detailA cooperative team player who also works well independentlyGenuine care for delivering a high standard of service to patients and doctorsLocation: Life Fertility, Bowen HillsLimited parking onsite, easily accessible by public transportHours: 8am-4pmTemporary part time (12 month contract), with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate.We value kindness, teamwork, initiative and a good sense of humour.
