From rewiring dual-battery systems and installing complete off-grid power setups to diagnosing complex air-conditioning and electrical faults, you'll gain real skills through hands-on experience.
At Jack Frost Car Air Conditioning and 4X4 OFFROAD, we don't just fix vehicles, we build capable touring setups, solve complex problems, and keep drivers cool, safe, powered, and adventure-ready.

What You'll Be Doing:
Learn to diagnose, service and repair automotive air conditioning systems
Assist with A/C regassing, leak detection, compressor and condenser replacements
Support 12-volt accessory installations – including dual battery systems, lighting, fridges, solar panels, UHF radios & electric brake controllers
Support the team on both workshop-based and custom fitout jobs
Help maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
Get mentored by experienced technicians in a supportive,



down-to-earth environment
Who We're Looking For:
Genuine passion for cars, 4WDs, and hands-on mechanical work
A switched-on, practical thinker who can assess problems, troubleshoot issues, and work towards solutions
Able to use common sense, follow instructions, and think independently when challenges arise
Eager to learn, show initiative, and build a long-term career
Great attitude and work ethic — reliable, punctual, and keen to get stuck in
Year 10 or above completed; driver's licence preferred but not essential
No prior experience required, although mechanical or automotive experience would be beneficial — enthusiasm and a willingness to learn matter most
