6-month fixed-term contract in blow moulding areaOpportunities to further develop skills and expand capabilitiesMonday-Friday, Afternoon ShiftThe RoleWe are seeking for an Afternoon Shift Machine Operator position in our Blow Moulding Team at Salisbury, SA.Our Salisbury site in Adelaide's northern suburbs manufactures a range of more than 78 milk and milk-based products.
This site is a combined production and distribution facility producing well-known brands such as Pura, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Feel Good; and distributes across predominantly SA and NT, but also NSW and VIC.This is a 6-month contract position, the standard working hours are from 3PM to 11PM, 5 days a week Monday to Friday.
During this role, you will be required to operate machine and blow moulding equipment, as well as monitor the process of product for supply and packaging in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards, and customer specifications.ResponsibilitiesOperate machines and identify faults if requiredInspect and ensure finished goods meet quality standardRecording/ Reporting of production data – including completing downtime sheetsGeneral housekeeping & cleaning is required to quality standardSupport Team Leader/Leading Hand with general dutiesAbout youExperience in blow moulding/injection moulding in a manufacturing environmentHave a strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team effectivelyPositive attitude and willingness to learnSelf-starter, able to operate independentlyBasic computer literacy skills (Microsoft Words, Excels, PPT, etc...)
