We are looking for an experienced Quality Systems Lead to support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of our Food Safety and Quality systems at our Casino production facility.This role will work closely with our Site FSQ team, New Zealand team, R&D;, Technical, Regulatory and operational teams to ensure our systems, standards and specifications support product quality, food safety, customer expectations, GFSI standards and regulatory requirements.A bit about usYou might know us for our protein snacks — but behind that is a team that shows up, works hard, and looks out for each other.We talk about embracing the "wild side," but for us that means:Backing ourselvesBeing open to learning and trying new thingsPutting in the effort to get the job done rightTaking pride in the work we do every dayAbout the roleAs the Quality Systems Lead, you will support the ongoing management and improvement of our site quality and food safety systems.In this role, you will:Work with the New Zealand team to implement and align with the existing Food Safety and Quality frameworkLead audit and assessment activities to ensure quality systems meet GFSI, customer and regulatory requirementsManage and improve processing control standards to support product quality, customer, regulatory and food safety outcomesAct as site HACCP Coordinator,
supporting the review and implementation of HACCP systemsReview, update and maintain the PLM database in collaboration with Technical and R&D; teamsCreate and maintain specifications, work instructions, SOPs and job aides within PLM/ILWork with R&D; and Regulatory to review new raw materials, product information and specificationsIdentify potential allergen, labelling or food safety impacts from new materials or process changesSupport continuous improvement by identifying gaps and working with key stakeholders to improve current processesProvide relief support for Site FSQ audit duties when requiredQualificationsWhat matters most is that you:Have experience in food safety, quality assurance, technical or quality systemsUnderstand HACCP, food safety systems and GFSI standardsCan review, maintain and improve systems, standards and processesAre confident working with specifications, product information and technical documentationCommunicate clearly with different teams and stakeholdersHave strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solvingAre comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentExperience with PLM systems, audits, specification management, food manufacturing, allergens, labelling or regulatory requirements will be highly regarded.Make a real impact on food safety, quality and customer outcomesWork closely with FSQ, R&D;, Technical, Regulatory, Operations and New Zealand teamsBe part of a hands-on manufacturing environment where your work makes a differenceJoin a supportive team that works hard, helps each other out and takes pride in what they doEnjoy regular team lunches, site events and recognition programsAdditional InformationApplications are open to candidates with eligibility to work in AustraliaPre-employment checks will be required for successful candidates.
