This position is integral to our audit offering where you will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality financial audit services.
This role offers flexibility and the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients.Key responsibilitiesConducting financial audits in accordance with professional audit standards and firm policiesPlanning audit procedures to assess the accuracy, validity and completeness of accounting recordsDocumenting and assessing internal control systemsExecuting audit procedures to test transactions, balances and reconciliations to verify accuracy, validity and completenessPreparing detailed working papers documenting audit evidence and conclusionsLiaising with clients, and/or Accountants,
to obtain necessary documentation and explanationsPreparation of financial reportsMonitoring the progress of audits from receipt of accounting records to signing of the financial reportsWhat we're looking forGeneral accounting / bookkeeping knowledge, professional accounting qualification or equivalent not essentialExperience within a professional services environmentProficient with office based work softwareExcellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and anomaliesAbility to work independently and manage multiple engagements concurrentlyReliability and flexibility to accommodate part-time working arrangements and varying client demandsProfessional integrity and commitment to maintaining high ethical standardsWhat we offerLevert Audit is committed to providing a supportive and professional working environment.
