About the Organisation:This is an opportunity for an experienced Industrial Relations Manager to join a well-regarded global organisation.
The business has a solid footprint across Australia and continues to evolve its workforce strategy in a complex industrial environment.About the Role:Reporting to the Head of IR/ER, this part-time role will play a key part in leading and delivering the organisation's enterprise bargaining strategy.
The Industrial Relations Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders to plan, negotiate and implement Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) across multiple jurisdictions.The role has a strong focus on union engagement, negotiation strategy and agreement delivery, while also providing targeted IR/ER advice to support broader business objectives.
You will take ownership of the end-to-end bargaining lifecycle, including preparation, negotiation, employee engagement and implementation.Ideally based in either Melbourne or Sydney, the role will have a national remit with occasional interstate travel.
This is a part-time position, offering flexibility in how hours are structured.About You:You bring strong experience in enterprise bargaining and a clear track record of leading EBA negotiations in unionised environments.
You are comfortable operating in complex,



multi-site organisations and can balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery.In addition:Demonstrated experience leading and negotiating Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, including strategy development, union engagement and implementationStrong knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial instruments, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation in practiceExperience working within large, complex or operationally focused environments such as industrials, construction, healthcare or similarWell-developed stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders and unionsSound judgement and the ability to manage sensitive and complex industrial mattersStrong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across different audiencesA structured and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a part-time capacityRelevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related disciplineTandem Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
