ACT Policing is the community policing arm of the Australian Federal Police (AFP).
As an ACT policing officer, you'll perform frontline policing duties, responding to incidents and engaging with the community to uphold the law.
No 2 days are the same and the work you do makes a real difference.
You'll work with the community to address:
victim-based crime
threats to community safety
serious and organised crime
road safety.
Over the course of your career, you'll have the chance to work across a range of specialist policing areas, including:
judicial operations
emergency management and planning
domestic and family violence
sexual assault and child abuse
criminal investigations, such as drugs, organised crime and homicide
community safety
To apply for this role, you must:
Be an Australian citizen
Be 18 years of age or older
Have attained a minimum educational level of a Year 10 Certificate, or higher
Hold a valid Australian driver's license (P Plates are accepted)
Provide evidence you can swim 100 metres freestyle, have current First Aid and CPR certifications.
