You'll work across a diverse portfolio of modular construction projects, from concept and tender through to detailed documentation, manufacturing and delivery.No two days are the same.

ensuring designs are practical, coordinated, buildable and aligned to scope, programme and quality expectations.Leading the design and documentation of projects from concept through to fabricationManaging design deliverables to ensure alignment with project scope, programme and delivery requirementsDeveloping coordinated, practical and buildable design solutionsWorking closely with estimators to align design intent with project costingDefining and maintaining clear design scopes, including inclusions, exclusions and assumptions, to keep design, estimating and delivery alignedCoordinating with internal stakeholders across Estimating, Manufacturing, Major Projects, Workforce Housing and Space RentalsLiaising with external consultants including hydraulic and electrical engineersResolving technical design and detailing challengesSupporting project teams through clear communication and documentationEnsuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards and legislative requirementsMaintaining high levels of design quality, accuracy and attention to detailWhat You'll BringWe're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of projects from day one.To be successful, you will have:Strong AutoCAD and/or Revit experienceExperience in building design,



detailing and design coordinationStrong understanding of construction methods and building systemsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects and competing prioritiesStrong time management skills and ability to meet project deadlinesA proactive and self-motivated approachStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomesExperience interpreting plans, specifications and technical documentationExposure to estimating processes and the relationship between design and project costingAbility to apply technical judgement to guide design decisions and resolve complex challengesQualifications & ExperienceDiploma or Certificate IV in Building Design, or equivalent industry experienceAbility to obtain and maintain a QBCC Building Designer Licence, NSW Building Design Practitioner Registration, or equivalentExperience in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), modular construction or similar delivery environments highly regardedExperience across commercial, industrial, modular or residential building projectsJoining Team ATCOIf you're looking for a role where you'll have genuine ownership of projects, work with a supportive team and be exposed to some of Australia's most engaging modular construction projects, we'd love to hear from you.We support diversity and encourage women and those of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent to apply.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
