MACRO Recruitment – Sydney Western Suburbs NSWSeeking an experienced Heavy Rigid Driver to support foundation and infrastructure projects for a respected civil construction company.
This is a full-time, permanent prospect based in the greater Sydney metropolitan area.About the Heavy Rigid Driver roleRequires: HR truck licence plus hands-on experience in construction settings and a practical approach to machinery operations.Salary range: Competitive hourly rate reflecting skills and experience.Key responsibilitiesBegin the day at the main operations facility to prepare materials and equipment.Load, inspect, and secure materials prior to transport to various construction sites.Drive heavy rigid vehicles safely to support ongoing civil infrastructure projects.Deliver essential foundation materials and equipment to job sites.Assist site crews with foundation installation processes, including supporting machinery operation.Operate or assist with excavators, auger drives, and other relevant equipment as required.Perform general site duties such as setup, pack down, and equipment positioning.Accurately follow site instructions and layouts.Comply fully with workplace health and safety standards, PPE requirements, and load securing protocols.Be flexible to work extended hours and overtime during the working week as project demands require.Why apply for this role?
