You'll join a small crew of 7 people and work a lifestyle friendly 10/4 roster.
Working closely with other team members, you'll safely operate Mill machinery and equipment to ensure customised feed rations are distributed to feed cattle so the highest standards of animal health and nutrition are maintained.You'll be comfortable working in a structured workplace, following procedures and be capable of learning to safely undertake a range of activities including:Operating feed truckOperating front end loaderPerform basic vehicle and equipment maintenanceAccurately follow ration formulasMonitor, measure, load and weigh commoditiesTempering and milling grainRecordingdata and informationAbout you:Previous experience in operating feed trucks and front end loaders is ideal, however full training for the right candidate will be provided.Competency to safely operate large scale machineryMechanically mindedSound computer literacyAttention to detail and accuracyCommitment to safety and qualityEffective communication and interpersonal skills– both written and verbalAbility to work effectively without supervision and within a close team environmentFlexibility and willingness to undertake other duties within the feedlotThis is ideal role for a local Somerset/Lockyer resident,
