Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionOur valued client Metal Recovery Industries based in Rockhampton Qld, is seeking qualified Mechanical Technicians with industry experience to work in their busy workshopROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform diagnostics, repairs and service of vehicles and equipment both in a workshop and field environment.Ensure company vehicles, plant and equipment are at all times secure, roadworthy, presentable and compliant.
Ensure that paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain records of scheduled servicing.General workshop duties which will include stocktaking and cleaning.
Strip, dismantle, clean, identify, store, and catalogue parts as required.
Provide supervision and guidance/training to apprentice/s.Work in accordance to NHVAS and company procedures.
Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.
